To support the relaunch of CADAC Mauritius following a change in ownership by revamping the website, modernizing the product offering, and improving the customer experience — all with the aim of repositioning the brand for long-term growth in the Mauritian market.
Following the acquisition of CADAC Mauritius, I stepped in to support the strategic relaunch of the business.
My work focused on:
Leading the full redesign and relaunch of cadac.mu, with an emphasis on mobile responsiveness, cleaner UX, and faster navigation.
Collaborating with developers and designers on the site’s visual design and user flow.
Restructuring the entire product catalog, including the addition of new categories like Generators, Scotsman Ice Systems and accessories better tailored for the Mauritian market.
Ensuring the backend setup was scalable and compatible with future automation (WooCommerce + inventory systems).
Providing guidance on tone of voice, returns policy, shipping logic, and localized content (e.g., switching from “braai” to “barbecue” for Mauritian context).
Supporting long-term planning for brand positioning, pricing, and content creation partnerships.
